Principal's Corner

Greetings MacMillan International Baccalaureate Academy teachers, parents, students, and community! I am Faith Terry Goshay, passionate educator and Instructional Leader of MacMillan International Baccalaureate Academy. It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome the MacMillan community of learners and stakeholders to the 2020-21 school year.

I graduated from Murray State University with my B.S. Degree in Elementary Education in 2005. I then earned my Master’s Degree (2011) & Education Specialist Degree (2014) in Instructional Leadership from Auburn University Montgomery.

I began my teaching career in education as a 5th Grade teacher at Mayfield Elementary, Mayfield KY in the spring of 2006. Summer of 2006, I moved to Montgomery to teach 1st grade at Highland Gardens Elementary. While at Highland Gardens I taught 4th and 6th grades as well. In 2011, I came to MacMillan and served as the Technology/IB Coordinator. In 2014, I became the Assistant Principal at Halcyon Elementary and Park Crossing High School, both served as great learning opportunities for me.  I am entering my 4th year as the new Instructional Leader here at MacMillan and I am so excited to get this school year started. I am honored to work with such a dynamic and dedicated group of stakeholders as we continue our pursuit to academic excellence for all students.

Please know that your assistance is always welcomed at MacMillan and that we love our students and want the very best for them. Thank you for trusting us with your very best!

Educationally Yours,

Faith Terry Goshay
